Our text is found in Matthew 8:23-27 which tells us how Jesus calmed the storm. This miracle had such an impact on the disciples that it’s found in the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Jesus never wasted a miracle. He never did a miracle just to show off. Every miracle was done to teach a point. This story contains some principles on how to deal with a crisis or the storms of life.

Dr. Mark Jackson

Dr. Mark S. Jackson the founding pastor of The Bridge Church in Corona. He is married to Debra Jackson and they have two children (Kimberly and David).

During his many years of ministry, Dr. Jackson has served as Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor in three Southern California churches. In 1997, God led him to Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California where he and his wife Debra became members and learned of the purpose-driven church philosophy.

In March 2004 Pastor Jackson accepted God's call to plant a new nondenominational church in the city of Corona. After much prayer and research The Bridge Church In Corona was incorporated on July 1, 2004.
