What To Look For
You will also be welcomed by friendly, smiling people at our information table out on the patio who will ask you your name and then give you a program for our service, a name tag which everyone wears as well as a guest pack that contains information about The Bridge Church and a free CD containing a message that Pastor Mark recently preached. When you get seated you will want to open your guest pack and read through the information as well as the program for service.
If you have children, someone at the information table will also explain to you where the nursery and children's classes are held.
From there you will enter the Theater and pass the refreshment table on your left. We serve free donuts and coffee as well a juice for the children.
Music will be playing in the theater and chairs will be set-up in a semi-circle. You may sit in any seat you choose. You will see the band on the stage and people walking around either getting ready for the service or talking to one another. Everyone who attends The Bridge is dressed casually. Many wear shorts and sandals during the summer.
You will also see a large 10 foot by 12 foot reverse image color screen above the stage. This is where the words to the songs we sing will be displayed as well as announcements concerning various ministries and events. This is also where the words to the morning message and video clips will be displayed.
Once you are seated someone will probably come up to you and say hello and again welcome you to our church.
Our service will begin with music to give you a lift from your tough week. If you don't feel like singing, feel free to just listen. When we have finished singing an announcement will be made for the children to be escorted to their classes by their teachers and class helpers. If you have infants, we have a nursery run by qualified and trained members of our church. We also have classes for elementary children as well as teens.
After the classes have been dismissed and the announcements have been made, the Pastor will begin his message for the morning. Pastor Mark utilizes humor, object lessons and video clips to reinforce his mesages. Once the message has concluded there will be a time of prayer, a song and the offering baskets will be passed around. Please don't fee obliged to give if you are not a member of The Bridge Church. But, please be sure to fill out your Response Card and place it in the offering basket. At the very end of the service another closing song will be sung.
We look forward to seeing you at The Bridge Church and pray that you will be uplifted by the great music from our band and inspired and encouraged by the practical message you hear from our Pastor.
